its a full moon isn't it?

so where to start. yesterday in the morning was the ward primary activity (really it was just practice for the program today.) by the time i started to have the girls put shoes and socks on we had a little over an hour until they had to be there. Many tears later they ended up being 10 minutes late. anyway i dropped them off and Hailey and i went grocery shopping. she was so cute. we went to Sam's club, they were out of carts, so i just walked around with her and held the food in my arm. she was so good. she just walked the store with me holding my hand. so adorable. almost made up for that morning. well we came back home before i pick up the girls to drop off some cold food. since it was just me and Hailey i brought her upstairs with me. (it was around 2)(remember that she likes to play with the stove nobs. remember that for later.) after i pick up the older two we finished shopping. get get back here (around 4 or just a little after) i open the door... (wait for it) black smoke filled my house. I'm starting to panic. i register the smoke alarms going off. (yeah they work!) i open the back door to get the smoke out. look into the kitchen and saw the stove. the back left burner was on full blast. i don't know if it was lucky or not but that burner had a skillet on it, that had oil in it. i guess its better then nothing on it and the flames going everywhere. nothing was burned. there was still oil in the pan. i have it soaking currently, i honestly think that it will be fine. Tim and Kari got here just before i got home. it was nice having someone tall to fix the alarms. so last night was also the ward trunk er treat. we didn't make it. for a couple reasons. the girls were sick (yeah for me, today their fine. me on the other hand, not so much) its cold outside and i didn't want to make it worse. plus with how fantastically horrible my day was the last thing i had the ability to do was play social with people. oh well they still have halloween to wear the cute dresses that i went to all that trouble to make.
