birthday week!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY(S) ZOE & EMMA
so last Wed was Zoe's birthday and yesterday was Emma's. on Wed we had a busy day. Zoe went to school then i had to pick her up to hurry to a WIC appointment. (Zoe weighs 35 lbs and Emma weighs 30 lbs. both 50% for there age) then we went to Honks to spend there birthday money from Grandma Mcfarlane. the girls had fun they got to hand the clerk the money all by themselves and pick whatever they wanted. then later that night the girls and i met Tash up in kaysville at a park to pick up Kaia. she had to work graveyard that night so Kaia came down and spent the night. the three oldest girls spend the night in the living room in sleeping bags. had a little 'slumber party' i told them that they could watch one movie, whatever movie they wanted. so after Mama Mia was over i turned off the TV and they went to bed. i was really surprised that is was that easy. the next day after i managed to get my butt out of bed i started making cakes. and i mean that in the plural. i made the three individual ones so the girls all had there own. and the 'real' one. (double layer with raspberry filling and cream cheese frosting) the girls had a blast. they drew a lot. we made 'princess' hats, complete with the strings out the top. Kaia drew a donkey and they played pin the tail on the donkey. (well, that was the plan with that one anyway) then after Tash came down the girls decorated their own cakes. probably would have been prettier, but the cakes would not get out of the stupid molds. the girls loved them anyway. then Tash the girls and i went up to pick blackberries. mostly Tasha picked the berries, the girls played in the big grass area and i went on an errand. but it was fun anyway. then yesterday since it was Emma's birthday i let her pick the movies. which means i got to watch Mary Poppins, and Pirates of Penzance. i escaped Grease because the TV needed a break. =) that girl loves her musicals.
so i cut the girls hair. was not meaning for it to be that short, especially Zoe's, but it does look cute. But that's what happens when you have wet hair that will shrink when its dry and a moving child. bad combination.
